The Vlora Police have provided details regarding two operations carried out in the city today. In a press conference, the local police leaders of Vlora said that during the first operation, a 38-year-old man with high social risk was arrested, who was circulating with a firearm.
Also, at the moment he spotted the police, the person attempted to flee, and even pointed his gun at the officers, but was unable to shoot after being neutralized.
"Based on police intelligence information and after a well-coordinated operation, operational services made it possible to locate, neutralize and capture citizen ES, 38 years old, a person with a significant criminal record, previously arrested and investigated by foreign authorities for serious criminal offenses in the field of crimes against the person. During the search carried out on him, the Police found and seized a pistol firearm, along with a magazine with combat ammunition", said the Director of the Vlora Police, Elidon Çela.
While in the second operation, two premises were discovered where narcotics were cultivated using lamps.
"During the control carried out inside these premises adapted for cultivation using lamps, around 780 cannabis plants were found and seized, of which 482 were planted in cubes. The height of the cultivated narcotic plants reached a height of 90 to 110 cm. Also seized were 80 powerful lighting lamps, 8 aspirators for airing the environment, 80 transformers, medications, chemical fertilizers and other specialized equipment for growing narcotic plants in closed environments", said the Director of the Vlora Local Police Directorate, Chief Eldion Çela.

As a result of the maximum commitment of the structures of the Vlora Local Police Directorate, the very good cooperation with law enforcement agencies, as well as the coordination and support from the General Directorate of the State Police, two police operations were finalized today in Vlora: first, to capture highly socially dangerous persons who circulate with firearms and second, to crack down on the criminal activity of cultivating narcotic plants in closed environments, in laboratory conditions using lamps.

Bazuar në informacionet e inteligjencës policore dhe pas një operacioni të mirëkoordinuar, shërbimet operacionale bënë të mundur lokalizimin, neutralizimin dhe kapjen e shtetasit E. S., 38 vjeç, person me precedentë penalë të theksuar, i arrestuar dhe i hetuar më parë nga autoritetet e huaja për vepra penale të rënda në fushën e krimeve kundër personit.
Gjatë kontrollit të ushtruar ndaj tij, Policia gjeti dhe sekuestroi një armë zjarri pistoletë, së bashku me një karikator me municion luftarak.
Shtetasi E. S., në momentin që pa shërbimet e Policisë, tentoi të largohej dhe iu ka drejtuar armën e zjarrit shërbimeve të Policisë, por s’ka mundur të qëllojë apo të largohet, pasi, falë profesionalizmit të forcave të Policisë, është bërë e mundur neutralizimi dhe arrestimi i tij.
Arma e zjarrit do t’i nënshtrohet ekspertizës balistike për të verifikuar nëse është përdorur në ngjarje kriminale të mëparshme.
Gjithashtu, në lidhje me këtë ngjarje është proceduar në gjendje të lirë për moskallëzim krimi shtetasi M. Sh., 33 vjeç, i cili lëvizte bashkë me 38-vjeçarin, tashmë të arrestuar.
Po gjatë ditës së sotme, nga strukturat e Drejtorisë Vendore të Policisë Vlorë, në vijim të kontrolleve të pandërprera për parandalimin dhe goditjen e kultivimit të bimëve narkotike në terrene të hapura dhe ambiente të mbyllura, bazuar edhe në informacionet e siguruara nga inteligjenca policore dhe bashkëpunimi me qytetarët, është finalizuar operacioni i dytë policor i koduar “Indoor”.
Në kuadër të këtij operacioni, strukturat e Komisariatit të Policisë Vlorë, në bashkëpunim me Sektorin për Hetimin e Narkotikëve, zbuluan në lagjen “24 Maji”, në katin e parë të një objekti trekatësh, dy ambiente të përshtatura posaçërisht për kultivimin e bimëve narkotike.
Gjatë kontrollit të ushtruar brenda këtyre ambienteve të përshtatur për kultivim me anë të llambave, u gjetën dhe u sekuestruan rreth 780 bimë kanabis, ku 482 prej tyre ishin të mbjella në kubikë. Lartësia e bimëve narkotike të kultivuara arrinte në një lartësi 90 deri në 110 cm. Gjithashtu u sekuestruan 80 llamba të fuqishme ndriçimi, 8 aspiratorë për ajrosjen e ambientit, 80 transformator, medikamente, plehra kimike dhe pajisje të tjera të specializuara për rritjen e bimëve narkotike në ambiente të mbyllura.
Po gjatë operacionit, në këtë ambient u gjet dhe u arrestua në flagrancë shtetasi A. L., 24 vjeç, lindur në “Përlat”, Mirditë, dhe banues në Lezhë.
Ky shtetas dyshohet se kujdesej për bimët e kultivuara dhe siguronte kushtet e nevojshme për mirëmbajtjen e tyre.
Following the investigative actions, citizen IK, 24 years old, resident of Fier, has been identified and declared wanted, who is suspected of having rented this premises. The Police continue to conduct checks to locate and capture him.
During the operation, following the control exercised in this facility, in an apartment on the third floor, rented by citizen EL, 35 years old, resident of Vlora, the services found and seized a quantity of the narcotic substance cannabis. Following the actions, the possessor of the narcotic substance was arrested in flagrante delicto.
Under the direction of the Prosecutor's Office, intensive investigations continue to identify and apprehend other citizens involved in this criminal activity.
The procedural materials for both cases were transferred to the Prosecutor's Office at the First Instance Court of General Jurisdiction in Vlora, for further legal action.
These operations are another testament to the dedication and professionalism of the Vlora Police in the fight against criminal elements and in creating a safer environment for citizens.
Close cooperation with the Prosecutor's Office and the use of modern investigative methods are yielding concrete results in identifying and cracking down on criminal groups.
Preventing the cultivation of narcotic plants, their distribution in various environments, the circulation of firearms and cracking down on illegal trafficking are priorities of the work of the Police structures operating in the Vlora district.
For these priorities to be best fulfilled, even greater support from citizens is needed, and I would like to take this opportunity to thank them for their cooperation and support so far and to invite them once again to continue and strengthen their cooperation with the Police, by reporting every case of illegality and contributing to the fight against crime.
