This Sunday morning, surprise checks were conducted at the Lushnja Prison and the Elbasan Prison.

Controls were exercised in internal regimes, cells, common areas and security sectors.

During the inspections at the Lushnja Penitentiary Institution, surplus items and communication equipment accessories were found and seized, while any material that constitutes a criminal offense will be referred to the ICRC and the competent authorities for further procedural actions.
