Journalist Flamur Vezaj, together with his colleague, Elton Qynon, have shed more "light" regarding special meetings in Albanian prison cells. They have discussed this "dark phenomenon", which according to information made public, has been happening in Albanian prisons for a long time, the introduction of famous showbiz girls into prison premises to hold special meetings with prisoners.

According to details discussed in the show "Ma Shqip me Flamur Vezajn", one of the most used ways to secure entry into penitentiary institutions is through declarations of cohabitation. Famous girls from the world of spectacle and events are presented as cohabitants of convicts through notarial documents, while in some cases changed identities or family names are also used to avoid verifications.

It was also revealed that another scheme consists of entering them into prisons disguised as lawyers' assistants, taking advantage of the procedures and not always strict controls at the entrance to the institutions.

According to journalist Vezaj, amounts ranging from 500 to 1,000 euros are paid for each entry, while it is suspected that the payments are passed on to several levels within the prison administration.

"In a special room that lasts up to 5 hours. In fact, these rooms in prisons have turned into 5-star hotels from these investments that these same strong people have made. In the name of the cohabitant, there has been abuse for some time. In collaboration with notaries, they issue cohabitation declarations against payment, and names are changed, not with the real name of the family member.
