The Head of the Special Prosecution Office, Altin Dumani, has stated that SPAK's striking force has increased.
During the presentation of the annual report at the KLP, Dumani stated that the indicator is the increase in the number of investigations, subjects prosecuted for organized crime and the increase in the number of seizures.
"But this year it should be noted that we have made it possible to investigate 2 criminal organizations, these are the first cases of investigation into a criminal organization and not a structured criminal group," declared the head of SPAK.
He emphasized that for the first time, the Special Prosecution Office seized a crypto wallet worth over 10 million euros.

Altin Dumani: The striking force of SPAK, BKH, and the State Police Directorate has increased, which also explains the increase in the number of investigations, the number of subjects prosecuted for organized crime offenses, and the increase in the number of seizures.
Thanks to cooperation with foreign agencies, Europol, Eurpjust, the UK, the Nordic countries, and Latin America, we have managed to build successful investigations in cracking down on organized crime groups.
But this year it should be noted that we have made it possible to investigate 2 more criminal organizations, these are the first cases of investigation into a criminal organization and not a structured criminal group.
The value of seized and confiscated assets has increased significantly. This has also come as a result of the asset investigation in almost every case we register as a criminal proceeding.
For the first time, we have also seized cryptocurrencies. We have also seized other years, but very small portfolios, while this year we have seized a portfolio in crypto worth over 10 million euros, achieved with great difficulty.
