Tirana, stole motorcycles and disassembled them to sell them, 33-year-old arrested

Tirana Police have finalized the operation codenamed "Remove", solving 6 cases of vehicle theft that occurred over the last two months.
The services of Police Commissariat No. 4 have identified, captured and arrested citizen E. Gj., 33 years old, resident of Tirana, suspected of being the perpetrator of the thefts.
According to the investigation, the 33-year-old is suspected of stealing motorcycles, disassembling them into parts and then selling them, mainly to entities that trade in vehicle spare parts. From the investigative actions it results that he committed 6 thefts of motorcycles during the months of March and April 2026.
During a search of his apartment, police found various parts of suspected stolen motorcycles.
Following the operation, citizen YD, 39 years old, was also criminally prosecuted, as he is suspected of having appropriated a motorcycle and other parts taken from the arrested person.
