Juventus makes first move for Lewandowski, sends official offer

Robert Lewandowski's future at Barcelona has been put into question again, as concrete signals of interest from Juventus are coming from Italy.

According to reports from Spanish media outlet Sport, the black and white club has presented the Polish striker with an official offer: a one-year contract with a net salary of around 6 million euros, plus bonuses.

The proposal came after a meeting between the player's agent, Pini Zahavi, and Juventus general director, Daniel Comolli.

Negotiations between the parties are said to be moving in the right direction, and in Turin there is optimism that an agreement will be reached in May. Another meeting is expected to take place in Italy to finalize the details.

Lewandowski is considered Juventus' main target for the offensive department. The club has even decided to suspend contract renewal talks with Dušan Vlahović, pending the Pole's decision. A key condition for closing the operation remains Juventus' qualification for the UEFA Champions League.

On the other hand, Barcelona have offered Lewandowski a contract extension, but with lower financial terms and no guarantee of an undisputed starting role. This has added to the dilemmas about the future of the striker, who feels comfortable in Catalonia but wants to continue competing at the highest levels.
