Mereme Sela: If I were to become Prime Minister, I would not make Sali Berisha a minister

Mereme Sela, whose application to run for Democratic Party (DP) president in the May 23 elections was accepted (despite the fact that her candidacy has not yet been made official), has stated that if she were to one day become prime minister, Sali Berisha would not appoint her as a minister.
Sela made the comments on the 'Frontline' show with journalist Marsela Karapanço on Report TV, when she was asked by lawyer Kreshnik Spahiu about the decisions she would make if she were elected head of the DP and then prime minister.
Kreshnik Spahiu : Would you make Sali Berisha a minister or deputy minister if you became prime minister?
Mereme Sela : If I become the leader of the DP, it is definitely my duty to be the prime minister as well. I think it will be a novelty for Albania as well. But ministers and deputies, we are talking about a new spirit.
Kreshnik Spahiu: So it's better to have young boys and girls instead of Berisha?
Mereme Sela : Definitely new figures, with all due respect to the doctor, to the professor.
Kreshnik Spahiu : So it's better to be at the deputy minister or director level, so as not to be left without anything.
