After over 4 hours of protest, citizens stop at 'Italia' Square where Rama held the anti-rally: Revolution, new Albania!

Thousands of Albanian citizens gathered on the boulevard today on the 13th day of the anti-government and anti-system protest.
After dozens of passionate speeches by citizens from different classes and categories of age and professions, at around 8:30 PM it was time for the traditional march on the boulevard.
They passed from the boulevard to the streets of the capital, passing by the ministries, "Myslym Shyri" street, the Police Directorate, "Willson" square and exiting towards the central boulevard again.
They stopped for a few moments at Italia Square, where Prime Minister Edi Rama earlier held an event for the 35th anniversary of the Socialist Party.
The "sea" of protesters poured into the streets of Tirana with slogans, chants, banners and patriotic songs, led by national flags.
Previously, thousands of citizens marched from Skanderbeg Square to the boulevard in front of the Prime Minister's Office at 6:35 PM, demanding the departure of the old government and politics.
The civic revolt against the government demanded the removal of Prime Minister Edi Rama.
Protesters are showing determination by continuing their mobilization and declaring that they will not retreat until their demands are met.
They unanimously demanded the removal of the old political class, the resignation of Prime Minister Edi Rama and the government. With chants of "Rama in prison, Berisha in prison", "Revolution", "Your end has come", "New Albania", they initially gathered in the center of the capital.
"We will bring the curly pelican to Surrel" or "Edi Rama, you traitor, resign as soon as possible."
With banners in their hands and chanting slogans against the political class, citizens have stood in the square for hours.
Their constant cries are "Rama resigns", "Rama in prison, Berisha in prison", "Arrest Belinda", etc., while young people, families with children and others of different age groups have participated in the protest.
The protest initially began as a reaction against the tourism project in Zvërnec, but it has transformed into a broader civic movement against misgovernment.
Protesters have articulated a range of concerns related to governance, problems in the healthcare system, corruption, the cost of living, and other social and economic issues. Their main demand is the resignation of Prime Minister Edi Rama.
