Berlin invests over 5 million euros for advanced drone protection

The German capital is developing a project to protect the city from drone attacks.

According to BILD reports, an advanced network of sensors, radars and cameras will be installed throughout Berlin to detect drones and secure major events, state visits and key locations.

The equipment is planned to be operational within six months, while the control center could be located at the former Tempelhof Airport.

Berlin is expected to invest over five million euros for this project, while investment in civil protection for the safety of citizens is also increasing.
