Barcelona advances to quarterfinals, Newcastle defeated 7-2 at Camp Nou

Fresh from a 1-1 draw in the first leg on English soil, Barcelona and Newcastle return to Camp Nou, where the Blaugrana break the deadlock in the sixth minute: Yamal's deflected pass brought Thiaw to the ground, Fermin provided the assist and Raphinha beat Ramsdale.
The Magpies reacted quickly: Hall punished Barca's usual high defence and passed the ball to Elanga, who scored to level the score in the 15th minute.
Three minutes later, the home team regained the lead: Newcastle took the lead from a free kick by Raphinha and Bernal made it 2-1 in the 18th minute.

Between the 52nd and 61st minutes, Culers broke away with a goal from Fermin and two goals from Lewandowski. Raphinha then scored the final score 7-2 in the 72nd minute, turning what seemed like a dream evening for the English team into a nightmare.
Things for the Magpies were made even worse by the injury to Tonali, a player who also has to be taken into account in terms of Italy: the Italian suffered a thigh injury and was substituted. Flick, on the other hand, celebrated, enjoying a brilliant second half and qualifying for the quarter-finals.
Flick's team will face either Atletico Madrid or Tottenham in the next round.
