Kosovo Customs action in Pristina, seizes goods worth 800 thousand euros

Kosovo Customs has announced that suspected smuggled goods worth around 800 thousand euros have been discovered in the Pristina region.
The quantity of goods was sportswear with various protected brands, as well as a quantity of textile clothing, and the identified goods are suspected of not possessing relevant documentation for origin and regular customs clearance in Kosovo.
"Today, on 10.03.2026, in the Pristina region, Kosovo Customs, based on its legal authorizations deriving from the Customs and Excise Code of the Republic of Kosovo, conducted a control operation in five locations, namely warehouses of various businesses.
During these checks, a considerable amount of sportswear with various protected brands was found, as well as a quantity of textile clothing. The identified goods are suspected of not possessing relevant documentation for origin and regular customs clearance in the Republic of Kosovo. The total value of the seized goods is estimated to be around 800,000 euros.
After the case was identified, the Custodian Prosecutor from the Basic Prosecution Office in Pristina was notified, who authorized the undertaking of further procedural actions. With his authorization, the persons suspected of ownership of the goods are being interviewed, while the found goods are being inventoried and confiscated, to be subsequently transported to the Kosovo Customs warehouses," the official announcement states.
