Germany threatens Russia: Enough with the games, we also know how to destroy

The expansion of Russia's hybrid attacks with drones, sabotage, and disinformation has stirred German experts and politicians, who warn that the situation is serious and that we can no longer stand idly by, but must act.
The alarm is unanimous. "We are seeing an intense escalation of the situation," Silke Wilms, deputy head of Germany's domestic intelligence service, added.
" We are experiencing cyberattacks, the circumvention of sanctions, arson, all on a scale we have never seen before, Germany is the target of hybrid attacks every day ," says German Interior Minister Alexander Dobrindt from the Christian Social Union (CSU).
"Democracy is under pressure from within and without," warns Holger Münch, director of the Federal Criminal Police. Minister Dobrindt calls the intensity of attacks on open society a "stress test for democracy."
Vladimir Putin's regime appears to be attacking on a broad front. In the fight against hybrid threats, the German government decided this week: in future, the Bundeswehr will be allowed to shoot down drones on German territory.
This was previously the exclusive responsibility of the police. The police, however, are planning to create “additional drone units.”
Minister Dobrindt announces that Germany will toughen its response to attacks: "Anyone who attacks us in cyberspace should be aware: we will defend ourselves in the future! Remember, we also know how to attack and destroy," was his message.
