Hezbollah fires nearly 200 rockets at Israeli targets over weekend

Hezbollah fired about 200 rockets at Israel and its troops in Lebanon over the weekend.

The drone strikes were carried out despite an agreement between Israel and Lebanon to extend the ceasefire.

“Over the weekend, Hezbollah fired around 200 rockets at the State of Israel and its troops, in clear and sustained violation of the ceasefire agreements,” the Israeli official said.
The attacks between Israeli forces and Hezbollah continued even though envoys from the two countries agreed on Friday to extend the ceasefire for another 45 days.

In recent weeks, Hezbollah has repeatedly used low-cost, fiber-optic FPV drones to target Israeli forces in Lebanon, presenting a new challenge to the Israeli military.
