"There are also those leaders who are doing the talking!" - Trump from the Peace Board: We don't want some of them here, because they are troublemakers!

US President Donald Trump opened the inaugural meeting of the Gaza Peace Board, held in the US today, with the participation of 40 world leaders who have signed up to participate in it.
As he delivered his speech about this ambitious project that he said aims solely to establish peace, America's number one recalled how he managed to end some of the wars, eight of them, he said, that had been going on for years, some of them even with over 30 years of fighting.
Trump said that some leaders are not part of the Board because they are annoying and some others he would not like to be part of because they are a nuisance.
He appreciated the financial contribution achieved with just one year of work.
"There has never been another Board closer. Most of the world's leaders are here. Some are making noise, some are making noise, but many leaders have accepted it immediately. There are some that we don't want on the Board because they are a nuisance. I have seen boards before and it is nothing compared to our board. The World Cup that will be held in the USA has sold out almost all the tickets. Some are all sold out and congratulations to FIFA and UEFA. I thank the heads of state who have made long trips. This building was built for long meetings and Marco (Rubio) put my name on it, I swear I have nothing to do with it. Then I looked up and saw my name Donald Trump and nobody believes it but I have nothing to do with it. They put it and that makes us work harder. It is a new building built for peace, nobody knew the architecture, it is very beautiful", said Trump in his speech.
He further spoke about his contribution to stopping wars and the US's contribution to world peace, taking as an example the case of peace between Azerbaijan and Armenia.
"My dear Marko said what a beautiful building it was and took ownership of it. There were many who wanted ownership of the building, but you from the State Department took it. We worked very well with the peace board for Gaza, with important and respected people, different countries have been very generous with money as well. Because there is nothing more important than peace. When you go to war it costs you hundreds of times more than making peace. You have fought for more than 30 years and you came to my office, you told me that you have fought for 32 years, and I have been in office for 5 years and the issue was resolved in two days. It has not been easy, so the conflict between Azerbaijan and Armenia (invites the presidents of the two countries to stand up). They were sitting in different parts of this hall and I told them to sit even closer and they came closer, hugged, signed, and I will not forget this, the friendship was strengthened and we are proud of this", continued the head of the Office Oval.
Trump further thanked, among others, the leaders by name for their participation in the Board and their cooperation. Among them, he also thanked Prime Minister Edi Rama.
"We are honored that the Prime Minister of Albania, Mr. Rama, has joined us here, we have the President of Argentina, Mr. Miley. We have supported candidates, we have Mr. Orban here, I support him. I also supported the Prime Minister of Japan, I like her a lot, she is sitting next to Viktor (Orban). So our support works with foreign countries," he said.
Albania on the Peace Board
Albania is represented by Prime Minister Edi Rama, while Kosovo is represented by President Vjosa Osmani.
The Peace Board initiative was undertaken by US President Donald Trump himself and is not intended to rival the United Nations (UN).
The Gaza Peace Board has humanitarian goals after the end of the war there. It will be an oversight body for the peace process and the first fund will be $5 billion, a list of countries that have contributed will be officially announced today.
Its mandate is 3 years and whoever wants to have permanent status must pay a contribution of 1 billion dollars. Albania will be part of the board, but not contributing in monetary amounts.
What does the Peace Board's agenda and mission contain?
This board aims to advance the reconstruction of Gaza.
The meeting comes nearly four months after the Trump administration brokered a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip that allowed for the release of all remaining Israeli hostages.
While the US is calling Thursday's meeting an inaugural meeting, members of the Peace Board met last month in Switzerland for a signing ceremony on the sidelines of the World Economic Forum.
Today's meeting began with a breakfast at 9:00 (15:00 Tirana time).
Trump arrived at 10:00 a.m. to deliver the opening speech and sign a number of resolutions related to Gaza.
The head of each delegation present was instructed to offer a short speech, during which they are encouraged to announce their contributions to the Gaza reconstruction efforts.
The agenda included speeches by US Secretary of State Marco Rubio, Trump's senior aides Jared Kushner and Steve Witkoff, US Ambassador to the UN Mike Waltz, former UK Prime Minister Tony Blair and the UN High Representative for Gaza, Nickolay Mladenov, the US official said.
Rubio is a member of the Peace Board's Executive Board, while Kushner, Witkoff, Blair and Mladenov are members of the Peace Board's Gaza Executive Board. Both panels are expected to play a role in overseeing the management of Gaza after the war.
At the end, a family photo of Trump in the group, before leaving at 11:00 (17:00), while the event will continue for another hour, according to a schedule sent to participants.
