Prime Minister Edi Rama delivered his speech at the Peace Board in the US. Rama expressed gratitude for the appreciation while underlining that Albania has the privilege of being on this path.
"Thank you for inviting me and this support shows everything. Many in Europe say that the peace board aims to replace the UN, but there seems to be no attempt to replace it. But if it helps and we hope it wakes it up, then God bless the Peace Board. Mr. President, we appreciate ending the war in Gaza and Albania will contribute with military forces. I hope it will be a relief for Palestinian children, helping the children and hostages who are the most innocent ," said Rama.
He also emphasized that the world must be transformed into an oasis of hope and freedom.
Further, Prime Minister Rama, in his speech at the Peace Board, stated that Albania has confirmed its participation in the Stabilization Force, while adding that he has proposed that this Board invite all countries to contribute to public relief for children in Gaza.
"Mr. President, we congratulate you on your decisive role in ending the war in Gaza and Albania has confirmed its participation in the Stabilization Force with our troops, and at the same time, I proposed that this Board invite all countries to contribute to a public relief for children in Gaza. I hope it will be a relief for Palestinian children, helping the children and hostages who are the most innocent," said Rama.
