The Special Appeal of the Court against Corruption and Organized Crime has upheld the mandatory appearance order for businessman Shkëlqim Fusha, under charges in the "Veliaj" file.
Fusha appealed the measure, which has been in effect for more than a year, but was overturned by the black platoons of the second instance of the judiciary, MCN reports.
The businessman is accused of active corruption in connection with illegal financial relations with the mayor of Tirana, Erion Veliaj, and his wife's companies.
