Russia is considering the possibility of deploying nuclear weapons in space, in a scenario that has been described as a "space Pearl Harbor."

The warning comes from Stephen Whiting, head of the US Space Command, who stated that the Kremlin may aim to create chaos in orbit by disabling a large number of satellites.

According to him, such an attack could damage up to 80% of the satellites currently in space, causing serious consequences on a global scale.
