Salianji responds to Berisha's accusations: He is "non grata" in

On the "Trialog" show on RTSH, former MP Ervin Salianji made strong statements against former Prime Minister Sali Berisha, bringing to attention his "non grata" status in the US and the United Kingdom.

Salianji stated that the decisions to declare him "non grata" are related to accusations of links to crime and his use for political influence, also referring to developments in the United Kingdom regarding the relevant complaints. This response comes after Berisha, this Wednesday, accused him from Berat of links to Suel Çelën and Ergys Agas.

"So far I have avoided public debate, but the truth must be told, Sali Berisha is non grata in the USA and the United Kingdom, according to the decision of the court of Great Britain regarding the complaint made by the Home Office that Sali Berisha is non grata due to his links with crime and due to the use of crime for political influence. There were accusations against Suel Cela by Lulzim Basha and Gazmend Bardhi at the time that he was threatening people to take over Sali Berisha's party. I have to ask people who are very close to Ergys Agas why until the moment he was declared wanted, he was not mentioned in any media that has an editorial line in favor of Sali Berisha," said Salianji.

At the same time, Salianji raised questions about the Democratic Party's stance on the issue of the Port of Durres, alluding to possible connections with criminal groups.

On the other hand, opposing reactions described these statements as serious and politically motivated slander, considering them part of internal tensions and political competition in the country.

"The Port of Durres, why doesn't the Democratic Party there make a statement because they are linked to criminal groups and to dirty anyone. These are wanted people and they are having lunch with me, who leaves these people? This is pure slander bordering on the destruction of the mental state due to the trouble they have from the competition," he said.
