Reuters: US military sends F-22 jets to Middle East

The United States is significantly increasing its military presence in the Middle East, against the backdrop of the escalating conflict between Israel and Iran.

Three US officials confirmed that Washington has decided to send advanced fighter jets to the region, including the F-16, F-35, and F-22 Raptor.

According to sources, the deployment of these aircraft is defensive in nature and aims to strengthen US capabilities to respond to air threats in the region.

Officials recalled that the aircraft in question have previously been used to neutralize missiles and drones.

This development comes at a time of high tension in the Middle East, as the international community continues to seek diplomatic solutions to avoid further escalation. / Reuters
