"Tehran will burn"/ Israeli defense minister warns Iran about missile attacks

Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz warned Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei that Tehran would burn if it continued to fire missiles at Israeli civilians. He said the Iranian dictator was holding Iranian citizens hostage, bringing about a reality in which they would pay a heavy price for the flagrant harm inflicted on Israeli citizens.

"If Khamenei continues to fire missiles at the Israeli home front, Tehran will burn," Katz said in a statement.

Iran's attacks come in response to Israel's unprecedented attack on Iranian nuclear and military targets. The attacks killed several of the country's top leaders.

Another 320 people were injured, most of whom were civilians according to Iranian authorities. Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz said late Friday that Iran had “crossed red lines” by targeting civilian population centers.
