Tram derails and crashes into building in Belgrade, injuring 13 people, including two minors

A tram has derailed and crashed into a building in Belgrade, injuring 13 passengers.

The accident occurred at around 09:30 in the morning, and five emergency service teams were deployed to the scene.

A total of 11 adults and two minors, aged 2 and 16, were injured. Two of the adults suffered serious injuries, a 20-year-old and a 60-year-old.

The injured were transported to the Emergency Center, while the children were taken to the Tiršova Hospital for specialized treatment.

Authorities are investigating the causes of the tram derailing and colliding with the building.
