Zelensky against Putin's ceasefire: He is trying to manipulate the world

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has stated that through the unilateral ceasefire, Russian President Vladimir Putin is aiming to manipulate the world "just so that there is silence at his parade."
In a video message, Zelensky said on Monday that Putin's demand for a ceasefire until May 8 is a hoax, saying the ceasefire must be immediate, complete and unconditional.
"We value people's lives, not parades. That's why we believe and the world believes that there is no reason to wait until May 8. The ceasefire should not be just for a few days, and then return to the killings. It should be immediate, complete and unconditional for at least 30 days, so that it is safe and guaranteed. This is the foundation that can lead to real diplomacy," Zelensky declared.
