Zelensky: If Russian war machine survives, future attacks could be against

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said today that if the "Russian war machine" survives, its future attacks could be directed against Europe and other regions.

"If the Russian war machine continues, its future attacks could be directed against Europe and against Russia's other neighbors, in more distant regions: Russian evil has already shown itself in Syria and in African countries," he stressed in an evening video address, Ukrinform reports.

Zelensky stated that Ukraine is working intensively to strengthen sanctions, noting that Russia's ties with international suppliers that enable military production are a direct threat to security.

"Russia's relations with the world, which function for war, represent a direct threat to lives, not only in Ukraine," Zelensky warned, adding that sanctions and other forms of pressure are the most effective instruments for limiting Russia's military capabilities.

He stressed that in the recent attack on Kiev, Russia used missiles produced this year, stating that without components from Europe, Japan and the United States, their production would have been impossible.

"Without components from companies from Europe, Japan and the United States, the Russians simply would not be able to build these missiles," Zelensky declared.

According to him, it is essential to cut off all of Russia's supply channels with components for the production of missiles and drones.
