If Sali Berisha wanted it, Edi Rama would fall tomorrow!

Sali Berisha is calling for protests again. After his vote brought Edi Rama to Donald Trump's table, the greatest gift for Rama in this moment of crisis, he is now calling for militants, supposedly to overthrow him.

But Rama should be so grateful that, to return the honor to Berisha, he risks organizing the socialists to join his only remaining partner tomorrow.

The truth is that with buses, deception and a crowd commanded towards Tirana, Berisha is calling them not to overthrow Edi Rama, but to save himself. Because Berisha knows very well that Rama is not overthrown by folkloric protests. Rama is overthrown only when the political justification that keeps him standing is removed: Sali Berisha himself!

These protests are not pressure on the government. They are pressure within the Democratic Party. They are a signal of strength towards those who Berisha sees as a threat to his personal throne. Today, the target is not Rama, but Salianji, anyone who thinks differently from him and all those democrats who no longer buy into his 4-year lies. That is why the lists are being cleaned, critical voices are being excluded and every alternative is being stifled. Berisha today is afraid of the democrats, not of Rama.

The truth is simple:

If Sali Berisha really wanted the overthrow of Edi Rama, he would only need three minutes: To appear in front of the cameras and resign. No protests. No chaos. Just resignation.

With that act:

The DP would be freed from its captivity.
The defectors, the youth and the intellectuals would return to the DP
. The US, Britain and Europe would open the door to the opposition.
Rama would be left without his main alibi, to stay in power.

Because today Rama governs not because of his strength, but because of the deliberate weakness of the opposition with Sali Berisha.

But Berisha doesn't do this. Why? Because he doesn't want Rama to leave. Rama is his political shield, the eternal enemy who justifies every failure, every defeat and every hostage-taking of the DP. Without Rama, Berisha would have to answer for it.

This is why the opposition does not win. Not because Rama is invincible, but because Berisha does not want victory. He wants permanent conflict, a weak party and personal power, to protect himself from justice and the de jure and de facto non gratas that he has from all over the West.

And until the opposition understands this bitter truth, Edi Rama will continue to govern – not thanks to his merit, but thanks to Sali Berisha's fear of his own political and criminal end/Alfapress.al
