Kosovo Assembly members take oath

118 deputies took the oath at the constitutive session of the Assembly of Kosovo, marking the start of the tenth legislature.

The session began with the verification of the mandates of the new deputies, a process that was approved by the votes of 118 lawmakers present in the hall. After this step, the deputies continued with the oath procedures and other items on the agenda.

The new legislature will consist of 120 deputies. Of these, 100 seats belong to Albanian parties, while 20 seats are reserved for non-majority communities.

According to the election results, the Vetëvendosje Movement has secured 57 seats in the Assembly.
