Kosovo President Vjosa Osmani has joined the statement of US Secretary of State Marco Rubio regarding the recent political developments in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Osmani said he stands in full solidarity with the people of Bosnia, reaffirming his unwavering support for the country's sovereignty and territorial integrity.
"We also strongly condemn any action that undermines the foundations of Bosnia and Herzegovina, as it jeopardizes the peace and stability that the region has worked tirelessly to achieve – through decades of sacrifice and with unwavering American support. The US commitment remains paramount to ensuring that our region moves towards lasting stability and peace, as well as towards a Euro-Atlantic future. We are committed to working closely with the United States to achieve this goal," Osmani wrote on her "X" account.
Rubio stated on Saturday that the actions of the President of Republika Srpska, Milorad Dodik, are undermining Bosnia and Herzegovina's institutions, as well as threatening its security and stability.
The US has encouraged political leaders in Bosnia and Herzegovina to engage in constructive and responsible dialogue.
"We call on our partners in the region to unite to oppose this dangerous and destabilizing behavior," Rubio said.
