The journalist kills himself after being released from prison

A journalist committed suicide after being released from prison. The death of 36-year-old Mohsen Jafari-Rad was announced by his colleague Hoshang Golmakani.

"Suicide after freedom. A few weeks ago, during the riots in Karaj, Moshen was arrested on his way home. Then he was released."

According to the BBC, this is not the first case of suicide after release from Iranian prisons. And more and more analysts talk about "suspicious deaths".

Golmakani reported that the colleague killed himself by taking some pills. He had been in jail for two weeks after his arrest near Tehran.
