LDK proposed Vjosa Osmani for President, VV does not consider it a serious proposal!

The Chairwoman of the Vetëvendosje Movement Parliamentary Group, Arbërie Nagavci, has reacted to recent political developments regarding the presidential election process, emphasizing that her party has taken concrete steps to overcome the institutional impasse.
Through a Facebook post, Nagavci announced that the Vetëvendosje Movement has given up its claim to the post of president, paving the way for a consensual solution.
According to her, VV has invited the two largest opposition parties, the Democratic Party of Kosovo and the Democratic League of Kosovo, to propose three unifying candidates outside the political scene, and to the same, I would like to add that it has not yet received any proposals.
"The VETËVENDOSJE! Movement yesterday took another step forward to enable overcoming the impasse in the selection of the president, by giving up this position and inviting the two largest opposition parties to come up with 3 proposals for unifying candidacies outside the political scene, with proven integrity and contribution. Beyond the statements in the media and social networks by PDK and LDK, so far, we have not officially accepted any concrete proposal towards our offer to give the country a consensual and unifying president.
"Due to the gravity of the situation and the importance of the deadlines, we remain awaiting concrete proposals tonight, and we once again invite PDK and LDK to contribute to overcoming the situation by proposing 3 names, and to make available the signatures of all their MPs and put an end to the crisis and offer citizens the institutional stability that the country deserves ," Nagavci wrote.
We recall that on Saturday, Lumir Abdixhiku, the chairman of the Democratic League of Kosovo, declared that the party he leads may also nominate former president Vjosa Osmani for the post of president, but only if the necessary votes are secured for her election.
" But, if you want a political agreement with the LDK, then talk to us. We propose the president with full responsibility. We can also propose Vjosa Osmani, if you guarantee us 66 votes for her ," Abdixhiku said.
