Osmani: Another state recognizes the Independence of the Republic of Kosovo!

In an announcement on X, Osmani said that Kosovo and Sudan have agreed to establish diplomatic relations.
"This is the beginning of a great partnership," Osmani wrote.
The recognition from Sudan is the second in a matter of weeks for Kosovo, after another African country, Kenya, recognized it at the end of March.
In a video alongside Sudanese Foreign Minister Ali Yousuf al-Sharif at the Diplomacy Forum in Antalya, Turkey, Osmani said he was informed by him of the Sudanese president's decision to recognize Kosovo and establish relations between the two countries.
The recognitions from Kenya and Sudan come after a slowdown in Kosovo's recognitions in recent years. Before them, the last state to recognize it was Israel in 2021.
Sudan has now become the 119th country to recognize Kosovo, a decision that is expected to anger Serbia, which has been continuously fighting its neighbor's independence.
Serbia condemned Kenya's decision to recognize Kosovo and said it could also affect Belgrade's relations with the African country./ REL
