Police discover another fireworks warehouse where protesters were supplied, arrest 51-year-old

Police have discovered another location where suspected smuggled pyrotechnics were stored, which were allegedly used to supply people participating in rallies.

As part of Operation "Fireworks 3", a 51-year-old man was arrested after 1,853 fireworks were found in the warehouse he managed in the "Tregu Çam" area.

According to the Police, the arrested person with the initials DK did not have a license to sell these products nor documentation for their purchase. The pyrotechnic goods were seized as material evidence.

Preliminary investigations suspect that the 51-year-old sold pyrotechnics to masked individuals who committed violent acts during the rally on October 24, 2026.

The procedural materials for the 51-year-old's case have been referred to the Prosecutor's Office for further action.
