Alimehmeti left open the possibility of running for Tirana, Kokalari attacks him

Democratic activist Evi Kokalari, who has announced her candidacy for the leadership of the Democratic Party, has harshly attacked former candidate for MP Ilir Alimehmet, after the latter yesterday left open the possibility of running for mayor of Tirana.

In a post on social media, Kokalari writes that Alimehmeti has no chance of becoming mayor of Tirana, while also accusing him of "bargaining" between him and Berisha.
"Alimehmeti burned every chance the moment he sold the primaries to Berisha, disappointing every one of his supporters. He sold the primaries at the expense of the late Gert Bogdani," the activist emphasizes in her post.

Kokalari's full post:

Alimehmeti will never become mayor or doctor #2.

Alimehmeti burned every chance the moment he sold the primaries to Berisha, disappointing every one of his supporters. He sold the primaries at the expense of the late Gert Bogdani.

Alimehmeti is one of the most mediocre figures entering Albanian politics, and the votes he received in Tirana were because he played on the emotions of ordinary citizens during a pandemic like COVID, where even Americans were terrified, let alone the people of Albania. No one today talks about Alimehmeti, without a shred of shame, coming out and saying that "vaccines are without any risk and should be done", as if he had the right expertise to talk about vaccines.

Alimehmeti will never become mayor because he once sold the primaries for the municipality for a piece of council seat, while Berisha and Shkëlzeni received permission to build the Mountain Tower, as they have articulated with knowledge of this issue.

In the meantime, I suggest to Alimehmeti that he never mention my name again in any television studio; otherwise, I will launch a super anti-campaign until he stops stepping into politics.

We are super tired of mediocre people, and Alimehmeti mediocrity is pouring out of every cell of his face. Moreover, Alimehmeti has neither my contribution nor my level in doing politics… so he should keep his opinions to himself, if he doesn't want me to come back to him and not share them until he resigns with full conscience!!
