The Democratic Party decided today to withdraw signatures for candidacies for the position of Ombudsman.

According to the DP, the MPs' signatures were provided before the candidates were qualified by the Laws Committee, and after the Committee's decision, the opposition MPs withdrew all previously provided signatures, and proposed the creation of a transparent majority-opposition selection process.
