Balluku on Van Horn's side/ Former prosecutor: Defendant officials cannot have contact with the US

Former prosecutor Eugen Beci has commented on the participation of the United States Chargé d'Affaires in Tirana, Nancy VanHorn, in an event attended by Edi Rama and Belinda Balluku, who currently has the status of defendant.

Invited to News 24, Beci emphasized that officially taking Balluk as a defendant has a special importance in relation to the standards of relations between American authorities and Albanian officials.

Given the fact that Edi Rama deliberately placed Balluk next to Van Horn, the former prosecutor says that US practices do not allow official contacts with persons under criminal investigation.
