Baton Haxhiu, invited to the show "The Unexposed" on MCN TV, responded to the leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, who classified the analyst as part of the "free speech mafia", after Haxhiu compared Berisha and Rama, saying that both enjoy power equally.
Haxhiu stated that the truth hurts and that Berisha is very worried about the truth, while he is not at all impressed by lies, and even finds them enjoyable.
Haxhiu continued to insist that Rama and Berisha have similar parallel power.
"When I analyze the opposition, especially the man who has been in power since '92, sometimes directly as President and Prime Minister, sometimes in moral power, as the opposition, then returns to carry out the mission as the founder who is sinking the DP, these characters who change along the way, give long-term power to others. He destroys the opposition's power by being powerless. Without a paradigm, with businesses that were built in his time, they are in a way part of this infrastructure, they live with politics and around politics.
I don't blame businesses for having their own business, but the relationship between politics and them is a problem. The relationship between the opposition and businesses is a serious problem. When you mix things, from a parallel system that the government has, with a parallel system of the opposition that Berisha has with businesses, it is impossible to create a new spirit for change.
The problem is that the accusations that come, even from the parties that have been created, the concept of business transformed into oligarch, does not exist. For me, businesses are powerless to influence the strong politician, which is currently Edi Rama, and a charismatic politician with a long history, which is Berisha. I think that the only oligarchs are the two big political figures, metaphorically I say oligarchs.
What's wrong with me? Why did the doctor react?
Because the truth always touches the essence, the truth is pain. The doctor never reacts when there is a lie, but rejoices. Hand on heart, also due to the fact that we have a long life in the media, sometimes with small or large mistakes, we know the entire business, political and cultural infrastructure, how they function and affect.
The fact that we remain silent at certain moments does not mean that we do not know the truth. Are we being fair to the public? But we do tell a truth, which I refuse to comment on, when the untruth that is turned into an accusation even by us in the media, without sufficient arguments, makes us suffer.
What I suffer greatly from is the creation of media, from the political infrastructure. All parties have their own media to cause cacophony and to close the media circle. You can see 80 microphones in front of a political leader, only 10 of them have influence, the rest are the decor of power, both visual and content.
"This is a great pain. The doctor is the main reason. The others are the second, third, etc. I can give the doctor a lecture on honesty for that job," Haxhiu declared.
