Dash Shehi clashes with the socialist MP: What were you before you became an MP?

The head of the LZHK, Dashamir Shehi, has been involved in a debate with Socialist MP Sara Mila regarding the level of MPs in the Albanian Parliament and the way citizens are represented.

Invited to A2, Mila stated that the academic level in the Assembly is good and that there are doctors, economists, and professionals of various profiles in the Parliament.

"The academic level of the Albanian parliament is a very good level. We have doctors there, we have economists," she said, rejecting claims of a lack of quality in representation.

On the other hand, Shehi stated that politics should not be based on academic titles, but on the democratic way of representation and obtaining votes.

"I'm not for them necessarily being professors and doctors. Politics is built on electoral systems. Whoever enters parliament, the first quality is to collect votes," said Shehi.
