Prime Minister Edi Rama, in his campaign opening speech, also focused on justice, about which he said that since 1912 and until a few years ago, no individual in power could be investigated or tried by independent prosecutors.

Rama stated that only Albanians who join him can save justice from any destructive attempt by the swamp.

"Since 1912 and until a few years ago, there has never been an individual in political power who has been investigated or tried by prosecutors or judges independent of the government. But the Albanian people cannot leave equality before the law in the hands of governments, but must defend it with the force of their own will, starting from May 11, where the choice is not between a few parties, but between Albania 2030 in the EU and Albania straight into the pit again. "Only Albania 2030 in the EU protects, without any possibility of going back, the foundation of equality before the law that the Socialist Party had the courage to throw away, and until we bring Mrs. Albania into the great main hall of the European House, only Albanians united with me and you here can protect the new justice from any destructive attempt by the swamp," said Rama.

Rama also said that when Albania joins the EU, in 2030 "the swamp will be dry."

"Albania today is nowhere the same as it was when we took office, nowhere. Except in the swampy opposition and its media. There is no doubt that Albania today will not be anywhere with Albania 2030 in the EU. In no field and in no direction, perhaps even the opposition swamp will have dried up by then. This is in the hands of the minority and not the majority of Albanians. Albania 2030 will be a new Albania in a different place and position. As a member state with rights and freedoms that we do not have yet and that we will not have tomorrow if we do not become part of that family,"  Rama said.
