"Fatmir Xhafa is being targeted", Berisha on the SPAK hacking: Files

The leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, has reacted to the news about the illegal interference in several e-mail addresses of SPAK prosecutors, casting doubts on the nature of this hacking.

In a statement to the media, Berisha said that the event reminds him of the time when, according to him, the files were initially passed through the Socialist Party before reaching the court.

"Whether it's hacking or self-hacking, I don't know. Data is being taken and manipulated. We could have an internal war between the SP mafia clans. They are using this situation to attack each other," Berisha said.

He hinted that former minister Fatmir Xhafaj could be the target of this situation. "They want to bill Fatmir Xhafaj. We don't know if this data was hacked or self-hacked, but it is being used for certain purposes," he stressed.

Berisha also mentioned a possible war between clans within the SP, involving prominent figures from the party. Meanwhile, investigations into the hacking of SPAK prosecutors' emails are ongoing, with authorities having arrested two people suspected of the cyberattack.

"The time has come when files before going to court went to the SP. Many years ago, the file before going to court went to the SP. Now it is hacked. Is it hacking or self-hacking, I don't know. The data is being taken and manipulated. There could be an internal war between the SP mafia clans. The hostile group, Xhafa, the pastor, Bushka, two or three others. It looks to me like the story of Erion Veliaj's statuses, Rama wrote the statuses and SPAK gave the answer to Veliaj. They want to bill Fatmir Xhafa for this hacking. We don't know if they were hacked or self-hacked. But this is being used. Fatmir is being approached and accused of hacking," he said.
