Undoubtedly, the surprise of these elections is Lulzim Basha!
I was watching the videos posted by Basha on his Facebook profile and in the last week alone, he has had more than one million and two hundred thousand views. Here, we should not calculate the logarithms of the distribution of these videos on other profiles on the same platform, or in other online formats. So, undoubtedly, the surprise of these elections is Basha! Perhaps no one had thought of this surprise and perhaps not even his close associates had believed it. While his opponents have certainly started to lose sleep, some are trying to imitate him and others are trying to find some formula to rival him.
Even Rama, who has an entire staff around him, is not coming close to Basha's figures. Of course, there is no need for polls to tell us this, but now anyone can understand that the leader of these elections is undoubtedly Basha. Why do I say this? Yes, because Basha's start was viewed with skepticism even by those who believe in him, and to some extent they were right, because he was entering the elections from tiring and unfair internal battles for the legitimacy of the Democratic Party, from constant and almost denigrating and unfair attacks that had the sole purpose of his political elimination in the political system.
Also, Basha was entering the elections from betrayal, departures with the sole purpose of creating the idea that Basha is alone and there is no one behind him. Most opponents were almost convinced that they had succeeded in their mission to eliminate him politically. As I see Basha's performance in this campaign, I understand more and more that even in the 2021 elections he was alone and did everything alone. The difference between 2021 and today is very big. Then Basha should have covered with his image and novelty even those whom he himself today calls "political scum". However, in the 2021 elections, he achieved a historic result that is almost impossible to repeat. Of course, Basha had to be freed from the cage that kept him tied up in order to modernize his style of doing politics and he needed to find himself again as a typical modern European leader and perhaps today he is ahead of many other leaders, even from the most developed European countries.
Basha is himself today, for those who know him closely, he is himself even in the things he does to Rama. Perhaps few people know Basha, but those who do know him know that he is also a funny person in everyday life, a person passionate about music and also has a special storytelling style. Outside of politics and the screens, Basha is a fantastic person, comfortable in conversations and also with a baggage to admire and you can raise any kind of argument with him without any obstacles. His opponents are trying to attack him again, trying to minimize that these views do not translate into votes. Of course, even those who put forward this idea in a desperate way believe that this is not the case. The views that I highlighted in a week alone from his profile are precisely videos of electoral and political meetings. So, citizens follow him and show interest in Basha knowing that the latter. So, Basha is followed for his profile as a leader, for his style of doing politics and of course for what he says and does in meetings or more precisely for his political discourse. Therefore, citizens know that Basha is not an actor or another profile, but they follow him for his political profile.
This is a simple analysis to understand by any citizen who does not consider Basha a political opponent and does not treat him as such. If Basha were not unjustly in this political situation that he is already in after tiring battles and the war unfairly waged against him, he would have secured a plebiscite victory over Rama on May 11. Beyond this, for only so little that we analyzed and beyond the polls, Basha is the surprise of these elections both in the style of doing the campaign, but also in the result that he will have on May 11. Basha is so trendy that the impression is created that he is the only one on the campaign trail and campaigning. All will be forgotten, but: 7X7=313 and “Where are your friends?” will be remembered for a long time even after these elections.
