Tight race for the leadership of the DP in Pogradec, here is who was elected as the new local mayor

The election of the new local mayor has been completed in the branch of the Democratic Party in Pogradec.

476 members of the Democratic Party participated in the vote. The race was between Kasëm Galla, former branch chairman and businessman in the area, and Oligert Muçllari, acting branch chairman and economist.

After the vote was counted, Oligert Muçllari won with 247 votes, while Kasem Galla received 224 votes. Six votes were invalid.

With this result, Oligert Muçllari will lead the branch of the Democratic Party in Pogradec.
