Endri Hasa: We identify ourselves as Euro-Atlantic democrats! Berisha wanted a civil war within the party

The decision of the Court of Appeal to leave the seal to Sali Berisha has created new divisions between the democrats.

Former deputy Endri Hasa, part of Lulzim Basha's group, says in the Repolitix show on Report TV that they now identify themselves as Euro-Atlantic democrats. For the former democratic deputy, the separation was more ideological than legal. Hasa said that there is a red line for Berisha and some people close to him, while he emphasized that the former prime minister wanted to bring the party into civil war.

' The separation we had was ideological and not legal. It was not for seals and buildings, but for division. In the framework of the legal battle, I can tell you that everything remains as before. In respect of the decision. Membership is individual, not collective, the political vision is that of the group. If we stop at individuals, if it will be their party, it is no longer mine. I have personally separated from the group it represents. Other discussions as we move on, I think we have a clear ideological representation. 

We have clearly expressed the vision that we will bring to the voters in the next elections, whenever they are. We have a clear ideological identity. The structures are there. I belong to a political grouping, the court does not allow us to identify ourselves as Euro-Atlantic democrats as it is about our identity. Berisha wanted to bring the party into civil war within the party. With some individuals, not all for me is a red line and it is not with one name, of some individuals and beyond Berisha.' - said Hasa.
