Kosovo 17 years of statehood! Rama congratulates independence: Good luck always!

Prime Minister Edi Rama congratulated today the 17th anniversary of the declaration of Kosovo's independence.

" GOOD MORNING KOSOVO.
Happy independence and prosperity always ," he wrote in a post on social media.

Kosovo's independence was declared on February 17, 2008 and has so far been recognized by 117 countries around the world.

The country is part of several international organizations, such as the World Bank, the International Monetary Fund, the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, the Olympic Committee, the European Football Association, and the World Football Association.

But, it is not yet in the United Nations, the European Union, or the Council of Europe.
