Albanians must overcome the old Rama-Berisha polarization on May 11

Albania is tired of an endless cycle of the same faces, the same promises and the same failures. On May 11, Albanians have an opportunity to break this dead end, because it is not enough to just say that “Rama must go”, but it is equally important to understand that “Berisha must not come”.
Albania has become a country where Rama's government has undone all control over power, while Berisha's opposition has been reduced to a movement led by his interests and those of his personal clan.
While Rama enriches himself and his circle with taxpayers' money, stealing everything public and not taking any responsibility, Berisha keeps the militants tied to an illusion of change that will never come under his leadership, because there can be no change without the problem itself disappearing.
Both maintain power not through vision or ideas, but through control through narrow interests over the people who follow them, polarizing them and feeding others empty propaganda.
Albanians should not forget that many of those who benefit from Rama's government today are the same ones who were empowered during Berisha's years in power, while the media controlled by today's government are the same ones that do not let Berisha leave the stage, perpetuating this extreme dualism.
Let's not forget that Rama will be investigated for corruption, while Berisha is being tried as corrupt, so one sees SPAK as a future threat, the other is already in the dock. Therefore, the question that arises is why Albanians should choose between two figures who are so strongly linked to corruption and are so afraid of justice, treating it as their common enemy?
In conclusion, during this period Edi Rama did everything to keep Berisha in politics, because only Berisha, under today's conditions, could keep Edi Rama in power.
Albania cannot remain hostage to this endless cycle. On May 11, Albanians must show that they want a future outside this barren dualism. Beyond Rama and Berisha, there is an Albania that deserves a new direction. The time has come for Albanians to no longer choose between two evils, but to seek a real alternative.
