Same as with the student protest/ Rama posts the video of them insulting him and invites the protesters to a meeting: Let's discuss!
For two days since the large non-partisan citizen protest began not only for Zvërnec but also against the corrupt politicians who are holding the country hostage in an endless transition, Edi Rama, just like the non-partisan student protest, seems to have been alarmed and is looking for a way out to quell this revolt. Just as he did when he pleaded with the students from his bed in Surrel, today the prime minister, while posting a video of himself being insulted by the protesters in the protest the day before in front of the Prime Minister's Office, has invited the protesters to a public discussion.
"I honestly really like you, especially those of you who vote for me - there are plenty out there outside this leading chorus - and above all, because at least you are fresher than the political garbage that has been coming under my window for 13 years now, but if this is your vision for protecting nature and for an "Albania of Albanians", I sincerely wish you much luck in the future, because you will need it.
Until then, I'm here, always ready to listen to you, if you want to talk about Zvërnec, about arrogance, about violence, about lack of information, about transparency, about property, about foreign investments, about nature, flamingos, eagles, or about any other issue of public interest.
Because the slaves of our homes are private interests and they should remain that way, I say, right?
So that this of mine does not remain simply as a "mouthwash" in the Majlis or be taken as a mockery of you, gather, no more than 20 people and, dear, let's sit in a public conversation, wherever you want and whenever you want.
Because if you don't want to, we still have our separate jobs:
"You in chorus with the slaves of my house, I in charge of Albania's affairs, with the vote of Albanians, for Albania 2030 in the European Union," Rama writes.
