Leader of the Democratic Party Sali Berisha, while accusing Belinda Balluku of abusing infrastructure investments, said that when the DP comes to power, they will build at real prices and that Albanians' money will not be wasted.
The leader of the DP accused Balluk of ordering a steak for 1 thousand euros, while stating that it is not known where the 12 billion euros invested in infrastructure have gone.
He said that this government builds 1 km of road at a cost 10 times higher than it should be.
"The minister sits down for dinner, Lubia orders a steak for 1 thousand euros. You don't know, but her grandfather, Enver Hoxha, took the kid out of his nose. She sees her boss opening a bottle of wine for 33 thousand euros, the equivalent of 200 pensions. He goes to a sports match with 28 thousand euros in tickets.
Rama and Balluku have spent 12 billion euros on infrastructure. Where are they? I'll tell you. National roads from Hani i Hotit to Gjirokastër, from Tirana to Elbasan, from Korca to Qafë Pllocë have cost 1 billion and 900 million. That's how much they cost. Now if these national roads were built, they would cost 30% more. That's how much the construction price has increased. But these 1 km of road costs 10 times more. We will build at real prices and your money will not be wasted ," said Sali Berisha.
