Former minister and former socialist MP, Arben Malaj, during an interview on Dritare TV, stated that Edi Rama dismissed him from the board of the Bank of Albania and in return hired former DP Minister, Ridvan Boden, whom, according to him, he did not hire for his professional skills, but to weaken the DP in Korça and to create access to the board of the Bank of Albania for a powerful businessman.
"He went and fired me from the Bank. So, they took Boden, who was a minister when Albania was burning. Edi Rama did not take him for his professional skills, he took him to weaken the Democratic Party in Korça and to create positive premises for a businessman to have a representative on the board of the Bank of Albania," Malaj said.
