Preliminary hearing against Ervis Berberi, defense requests court assessment of evidence

A preliminary hearing is being held for the former head of the ARRSH, Ervis Berberi, and his associates.

The barber, through his lawyers, has claimed that the charges of corruption and money laundering are not proven with evidence, ultimately requesting that the court itself consider whether the case should be returned to the prosecutor's office for further investigations.

It is reported that if this request is not accepted, Berber's lawyers will request a summary trial.
