"It's a business, no one talks!"/ Artan Hoxha reveals the bargains with tickets for national team matches

Journalist Artan Hoxha, invited to the show "The Unexposed" on MCN TV, has revealed that tickets for national team matches are a business and that they are sold at stratospheric prices. 

"The way the Federation handles tickets. Tickets are used to entice, if you look, even SPAK, which had nothing to do with football, has them in the VIP stands."

What happens? We inaugurated the Elbasan stadium and had a match with Denmark. The tickets were 180 thousand lek. In Belgrade in 2014, the most expensive ticket in the stadium was 9 euros. The ticket after the gate was 2 euros. They set a price, which also depends on the cost of living. In Albania, a journalist from the federation blurted out that football is for the rich, not for the poor.

In the European Championship, tickets were 30-40 euros. Do you know how much the agencies sold them? The agency bought the tickets, the matches were 800 euros to 1 thousand euros per gate. There was also business with this.

Everything where you can make a profit has become a business. By controlling the media, you have no voices against it, which is why I end up in court there.

"Just look at the sports panels, on every panel you have the Federation official," Hoxha said, among other things.
