Shot with service weapon at three brothers in Kamëz, photo of Military Police officer emerges

Selam Islamaj, Nazmi Islamaj and Shefqet Islamaj are the three brothers who were shot at this Monday afternoon, in Bathore. They were involved in a conflict with citizen Ngushëlim Manzi, who fired the gun.

The first actions resulted in a conflict over weak motives between citizen Ngushëlim Manzi and three brothers, Selam Islamaj, Nazmi Islamaj and Shefqet Islamaj, escalating into the use of firearms.

As a result, citizen Selam Islamaj, about 30 years old, lost his life, while citizens Nazmi Islamaj, 48 years old, and Shefqet Islamaj, about 44 years old, were injured and transported to the hospital, where the 48-year-old lost his life, while the 44-year-old continues to be under the care of doctors.

As a result of the swift police action, the suspected perpetrator of the incident, citizen Ngushëlim Manzi, around 40 years old, an employee of the Military Police, was captured and arrested. The firearm (pistol) suspected of being used in the crime was also seized.

The investigation team is continuing its work to fully legalize the event and clarify its circumstances.
