Angelina Jolie is convinced that Brad Pitt is behind her disdain at the Oscars and accuses her ex-husband and Jennifer Aniston of conspiring against her.
Jolie and Pitt were together from 2006-2016, and married in 2014, but things ended badly after allegations of an in-flight abuse incident that year.
Now after being snubbed by the Oscars for her role in "Maria," Jolie is convinced her ex is behind it all, according to sources who believe she thinks Pitt is isolating Jolie from the film industry.
"There was a lot of buzz about how her role in 'Maria' was the role of her career. The fact that she wasn't even nominated is unbelievable. She believed this would be the role that would put her back on top. She's sure that's all Brad does. She's convinced his smear campaign worked," an insider said.
Jolie believes Aniston has been involved in the conspiracy since 2005 when her marriage to Pitt ended, with allegations that Jolie had an affair with the actor and that they divorced because of her.
"It's been 20 years since Angelina stole Brad from Jennifer, but she still hasn't forgiven him and there are a lot of powerful people in the industry who are on her side," the source said.
