Loss for cinema: The famous actor of "Dazed and Confused" passes away

American actor Nicky Katt, known for his roles in the films “Dazed and Confused” and “School of Rock,” has died at the age of 54. The news was confirmed by his lawyer, John Sloss, to American media. The cause of death has not been announced.
Katt was born on May 11, 1970, in South Dakota and began his career as a child actor in the 1980s, appearing in series such as “CHiPs” and “Fantasy Island.” He became known for playing complex and often dark characters, such as in the films “A Time to Kill,” “The Limey,” “Boiler Room” and “The Way of the Gun.” On television, he rose to prominence as teacher Harry Senate on the series “Boston Public.”
The actor retired from the stage in 2018, but remains remembered for his distinctive style and strong screen presence. His death represents a significant loss to the film and television industry.
